I’ve just started growing Courgettes in a pot outside. I’ve the yellow variety. Two,of them so far are a decent size, but still have a shrivelled up flower on the end. Are they still not ready to be removed yet?

Does the tail at the end of cucumbers tell when it's time to pick . I notice mine have little tails as part of the flower at the end. do I let them grow until the tail is gone or that doesn't matter? No one mentions that.

I am so upset I planted comfrey as a companion plant. It's impossible to get rid of if you put it in the wrong place like I did. No matter how hard I try, I can't get all the roots out. it just keeps coming back over and over and over.

Thank you so much! I grew my first zucchini’s ever and I see I allowed the first two to mature too much. After watching this, I went out and found another that is still dark green and about palm-length. Cooking that and my perfect little summer squash tonight! Thanks so much for the education!

Darn watched this after peeling the garlic and planting just below the surface so the already shooting greens are above. Days later the shoots are turning yellow. Now I know why

I planted some seeds to be the best variety for pickling. A week after planting they sprouted and grew like crazy. The trellis is about 3ft high and it's still growing. Have little yellow flowers all over. Mine are planted in semi shade here in San Antonio TX. Water every other day and the soil is mostly Mericle Grow mixed with standard soil from the ground and I mix in Ash from my fire pit on top then water it.

I love bees, they are the most important insect in the world. Even in the Bible ,GOD says to bring his people to the land of milk and honey. And bees are the only living thing that creates honey. Milk for us to drink by several animals, cows, goats, ect. Tho they are also important as for meat and milk. There are some people whom do not eat of ,or from any animals, including honey from bees or milk ,or even eggs, but thats just crazy to me, being we were created to do just that. Just as lions eat only meat ,and giraffes eat only leaves. Its all part of this great and magical Earth that was created just for us by GOD. bless you for sharing your information to help those wanting to know how and learn to provide for their families. And not depend on the poisons they are putting in their fake food. Or more and more with gmo's. Genetically modified organisms. Thats showing up on thousands of store bought food labels now.

My golden chicken lays 2 eggs a day , shes been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Im not sure why because before, it was only 1 every morning. I have started mixing her food with laying pellets tho. The rest of the hens just give me 1. And sometimes even skip a day. Lol

Put wooden skewers sticking out with the pointy side up. Don't worry thos won't harm those critters but it will deter them from wanting to use that area as a litterbox.

Hi. I like that you are encouraging people to pick their runner beans quite young. I had allotments years ago, and many of the allotment holders grow them as big as possible just to show off. You should only grow huge pods if you want to dry the beans or to cook the beans from fresh in a soup. My allotment neighbour was always waving his 12-14 inchers at me proudly, but I could always tell by the big bumps that they were way too big to be eaten without cutting half the pod away to eat the thing. As you explain, the bigger they get the stringier they become, and the starchier as well. So picking the beans younger gives you great flavour and texture. There are a few varieties that do give bigger pods, but all the ones I tried eventually got stringy, so I would stick with a variety that you like and enjoy the fresh produce at peak quality. I also saved the seed from the plant that yielded the best of the best. I saw a video once of someone cooking the roots, but haven't tried it yet. I grow Gigante Beans each year as well for the bean, as the pods are short and not good for eating. Thanks for the video. I subbed by the way.

Shame these chanel seems to have ended - nice vedio. Anyway, I'm often put off garthering from the wild, other than friut,or if really remote, because if we all take 5%, it will not be long before there is none. So I order and planted my own wild garlic last autumn and it seems to be doing rather well :)
